RR – Initial line up the backside of flyer guns, an extended hunt working his way towards the bird finally yielding success.
Croc won the Open and received a Jam in the Amateur.
This qualified Croc for the 2019 National Open being held in Corning, CA.
Croc got 3rd in the Open!
Croc received second place in the Open at the Tejas Hunting Retriever Club; Giddings, TX 1/26/19
Flyer – Straight out and straight back with his bird.
Middle – Along the dam and up the hill, Croc arrives behind the gunners but makes a fast turn to the area and grabs the bird.
Left – Out to the bird lickety split. A pass back and forth and he has his bird.
Water Blind – 1 whistle before the road, 3 whistles to get angled entry into the water, 6 whistles to get him out of the running water and away from shore. The dog stayed parallel to the shore and around the dam to the bird.
Land Blind – 1 whistle by the tree to get line adjusted, 2 whistles through the slot to move the dog left and to pick up the blind.
“Croc” with handler Dave Rorem came to the line to run their first test of the 2018 National Retriever Club Championship at 9:05 am.
Flyer – An early check down, but Croc worked out the bird.
Long – Running the left edge of the corn field, he arrived at the area of the fall. Making a couple tight loops, Croc got his bird.
Croc and Dave made it to Oregon this week to train for the 2019 National; held November 10-17, 2018 in Paducah, KY.
NAFC FC AFC Steadfast’s Bachelor Special “Croc” is dog number 90.
